Daytona Beach pools
The City of Daytona Beach offers swimming pool access at the Campbell Aquatic Center, 400 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., and the Cypress Aquatic Center, 981 George W. Engram Blvd.
Cypress has swim hours from 10 am to 7 pm Monday to Saturday. Admission is $ 3 for adults and $ 2 for 17 years old and younger.
The Campbell Aquatic Center is temporarily closed for resurfacing of the two pools and installation of a new motor pump.

New Community Center
Nova Community Center is open from 9 am to 9 pm Monday to Saturday and 1 to 5:30 pm Sunday at 440 N. Nova Road, Ormond Beach.
Pickleball and basketball are offered Monday to Saturday. Basketball is played Sunday.
Reservations are necessary. The cost is free for residents or $ 4 daily for yearly membership for non-residents.

South Ormond Neighborhood Center
South Ormond Neighborhood Center is open from 1 to 9 pm Monday to Friday, 11 am to 5 pm Saturday and 1 to 5 pm Sunday at 176 Division Ave., Ormond Beach.
The center has baseball fields and basketball. Tennis courts are closed as the center is renovated.

Ormond Beach Tennis Center
Ormond Beach Tennis Center is open from 8 am to 8 pm Monday to Thursday and 8 am to 2 pm Friday to Sunday at 38 E. Granada Blvd.
It offers play for members and non-members, and classes seven days a week.

YSG Community Center
Kung-fu and Tai-Chi classes are offered from 6 to 8 pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday and from 11 am to 1 pm Saturday at The Yvonne Scarlett-Golden Cultural and Educational Center, 1000 Vine St., Daytona Beach. The fee is $ 40 per month.
Open gym for Daytona Beach residents to play basketball is from from 8 am to 8 pm Monday, Tuesday and Friday, and from 2 to 8 pm Thursday at the center.

Daytona Beach residents can feel the burn with cardio kickboxing at the Dickerson Center at 308 S. Dr. Martin Luther King Blvd.
Classes are offered for adults from noon to 1 pm Monday to Friday and 5 to 6 pm for youth ages 5 to 17. Each session is $ 5 per person.

Yoga in the Gallery
Yoga in the Gallery will be from 5:30 to 6:30 pm Wednesday, May 4, at Cici and Hyatt Brown Museum of Art, 352 S. Nova Road, Daytona Beach.

Senior fitness class
A senior fitness class will meet at 10: 3 0 am each Tuesday and Thursday at the Ponce Inlet Community Center, 4670 S. Peninsula Drive.
The class will focus on cardio, strength and balance. Handheld weights, and resistance bands and ball will be used. All equipment provided. Participants should bring a water bottle.

Chair yoga classes
Chair Yoga classes are offered from 4:30 to 5:30 pm Tuesdays at the Daytona Beach Shores Community Center at 3000 Bellemead Drive.
The class is for those who will practice seated and standing poses using a chair for support to help improve balance, posture, energy, breathing, strength, flexibility and relaxation.
The center also offers Gentle Yoga classes from 6 to 7 pm Tuesdays and Thursdays with floor to standing poses. Yoga classes are taught by Mardi Williams, a certified yoga teacher.
The cost is $ 8. Daytona Beach Shores residency and membership are not required.

Daily Mile in Deltona
Deltona Parks & Recreation will offer the free Daily Mile at 5:30 pm Tuesdays and Thursdays in April.
Walk at least one mile with Deltona Parks & Recreation staff at the walking trail at Wes Crile Park, 1537 Norbert Terrace.
Medical experts suggest that just one brisk walk per day helps maintain a healthy weight and prevents many adverse medical conditions.
